Today, Billboard Japan reveal the winners of their awards, Billboard JAPAN Music Awards. AKB48, T-ARA, AK-69 were among some of the winners. It was AKB48's night, as they claimed 4 awards in total. This is a new historical achievement for the awards.

The ARTIST AWARDS are based on fan voting and the CHART AWARDS are based on Billboard Japan sales (and possibly airplay).
