GReeeeN reveals PV for “OH!!!! Meiwaku!!!!”

GReeeeN has revealed the PV for their upcoming single, “OH!!!! Meiwaku!!!!“.

For this PV, the members thought, “Indian music has the magic to make people smile. We definitely want the people of India to make the music video for our new song!” The cast and staff for this PV are all Indian, and it was shot in India as well.

The single will be available in both limited and regular editions. The regular edition will only contain the title track. Meanwhile, the limited edition will include a coupling song called “Ichiban Boshi“. It will also come with a DVD with the video clip for “OH!!!! Meiwaku!!!!”.

Hey!Say!JUMP to Release a Second Album

After two years, the boys of Hey!Say!JUMP are back with a new album. The still untitled album will also include songs from their Hey!Say!7 and Hey!Say!BEST releases; moreover, it will also have a single medley and an orchestra version.

It has been reported that some members of Hey!Say!JUMP have been doing some composing and music arrangements of some songs as well.

Blood-C: The Last Dark Film's 2nd Intro Video Streamed

The film distributor Shochiku began streaming the second introductory video to the Blood-C: The Last Dark's film on Monday. In the 126-second video, the identical twins Nono & Nene Motoe — in super-deformed form — introduce Fumito Nanahara and other characters in the vampire anime film. The film's story is set in Tokyo one year after the Blood-C television series.



The manga creator team CLAMP developed the story and original character designs for the earlier Blood-C television series and the upcoming film. Production I.G has been animating both projects. Naoyoshi Shiotani (Tokyo Marble Chocolate, key animator on Blood+ and Blood-C) is directing the film instead of the television version's director Tsutomu Mizushima. Writers Jun'ichi Fujisaku and Nanase Ohkawa (CLAMP), animation character designer/chief animation director Kazuchika Kise, and voice cast members Nana Mizuki (Saya Kisaragi) and Kenji Nojima (Fumito Nanahara) are returning from the television series.

The film will open in theaters across Japan on June 2. Niconico, the English version of the online video service Nico Nico Douga, streamed the television series outside of Japan as it aired.

JKT48 to star in their first Japanese CM

On April 16th, AKB48 sister group JKT48 attended a press conference for Tokiwa Pharmaceutical’s skincare product “Nameraka Honpo Bihaku Series“, as its newest CM character.

As their first time starring in a CM in Japan, member Shania Junianatha commented, “I’m excited to be able to star in a Japanese CM.” When asked about the CM shoot, Cleopatra shared, “In the CM, we all have to raise our heads together. We had a hard time doing it in unison, so we had about 50 retakes.”

Regarding the result of the CM, Melody Nurramdhani Laksani said, “It took about 50 tries, but I think it turned out really good. Through this CM, I hope more people will get to know JKT48.”

In the CM, the girls of JKT48 sing AKB48’s hit song, “Heavy Rotation“, in Indonesian. Under the blazing sun, the members innocently run across the beach, and hug the product character ‘Mochimochi-kun’. The CM will broadcast starting April 16th.

The 12 members who were present at the press conference performed an Indonesian version of “Heavy Rotation“. Although JKT48 has not made their CD debut yet, Melody strongly stated, “We will continue to do our best, and be able to have our own songs.” When asked about their debut, she responded, “If possible, within this year.”

NYC Reveals New Single "Haina"

Johnny's trio, NYC, will be releasing a new single this May 25th. Their upcoming single will be called "Haina", which will be used as an ending theme song for anime/drama called "Akarui Mirai". The single will be available in regular and limited edition; the regular version will consists of two additional tracks, while the limited edition comes with a DVD.
